happy thanksgiving! merry christmas! and i hope your 2010 is off to a blessed start! does that about cover everything i missed during my maternity leave? :) ...i hardly think so! i hope each of you had wonderful holidays and that life is treating you kindly!
thank you all for your warmest welcome on our little mister boy's arrival and introduction and for your "are you ok"..."we miss you" emails and comments! we had a rough start. he is and has been so very healthy and for that we are more than blessed and so grateful, but at 2.5 weeks we had an unwelcomed visitor...reflux......hence my absence. if you've "been there done that" then that would be enough said! ;) at his most painful the poor guy was at the point that he cried/screamed 30-45 min. after e-v-e-r-y feeding. we are thankful that we finally have found a therapy that works for him...and now at 3 months are beginning to get into a routine. it is more than gut-wrenching to watch your baby endure such agony.
he is such a happy baby with such an infectious smile and we are loving learning more and more about him! i hope you are each doing well and i hope to catch up...i can't promise a return to blogging as i have many projects on the horizon through march...but i think i can at least post once a month!

He's beautiful, Ashley! I'm sorry he's had such a hard time of it...it's so heartbreaking when they are little and you can't do anything about it. Praise God he has led you to a solution. May the restful nights be more frequent and the happy moments continue!

So good to get a dose of all thing lovely! (except the reflux part, of course. so sorry to hear about that, I can only imagine how rough it must be). It's true, amazing how a baby will change - what feels like overnight - once he turns three months old. It's like they become completely different babies. My little man started teething (and badly drooling with lots of fussiness) at 3 months. Two weeks later he got two bottom teeth!
Hope to hear more from you soon, life happens too darn fast. He's gorgeous; looks just like you! And you look AMAZING!
Glad you are back...dying to know Mister's name...can you share? Anyhoo, my first born had reflux too and it is AGONY...but seems like you are over the hump...so enjoy this precious time - it FLIES by!
I've thought about you recently and hoping everything was ok. It's so wonderful to hear that you and your family are doing well and that you have found something to help the poor little guy out...I cannot imagine how difficult that would be. He is adorable!!
