1st visit to the library

despite the fact that little tickle LOVES to read books...this was a new place with so much to see! he was much more interested in exploring today! so it wasn't long before...he was off...

whats for dessert?

whipped these up last minute for hubby and i last night and they were a hit!
just enough sweetness and nutrition {fruit!} to not over indulge!

{ i was able to get him to sit still with a little bribery...however, couldn't interest him in too many smiles for he couldn't keep said bribed object out of his mouth! the new tripod hubby surprised me with should help with this...hoping so! }

i have been "tortured" by looking at this gorgeous little box my mom made since we came back from texas in mid-january. mom sent our valentines with us and we weren't allowed to open until today!

handmade by momma is always a treat! i think i'll be keeping the box out for a while longer so i can continue to admire it! thanks mom!!! ♥ you! hope everyone has a special day filled with love and those they love! i'm off to make a surprise dinner for mine...with a little help from the pioneer woman! { side note...when i went to grab her link...ummm oh my did you see the adorable k.a.mixer she has on her post for today! }

a quick catch up

celebrated thanksgiving with dear friends...

met santa...

spent 3 weeks in texas with family for the holidays...










designed a new camera strap with my momma...

and in january we...

SURVIVED the first snow of 2011 back in pa...




and the next one...we ventured out a few times to romp in it...
but my blood is too southern for it and little tickle's not too sure about it!

i think we might be caught up! maybe i can keep up now!

a visit to the petting zoo

where do you start blogging again when you've been away for so long? well the drafts of course that are finished and you never published! why they weren't uploaded for view i don't know.

since these pics...among many things...we have moved {not too far}, we have traveled to texas for several weeks for christmas and new years, i have traveled for business, the mister has grown in leaps and bounds and vocabulary...not to mention we are living in a frozen tundra this winter! @ least these pics are a reminder that the ground will be seen again...eventually!

i hope all my lovely friends...the few readers i have left...had wonderful holidays and that your 2011 is off to a blessed start!
