decked out in love...

I finally took down the Christmas decorations today and put up Valentines. I love decorating with the pinks and reds!

I will only do the mantle this year...going for simplicity {and less to clean up later on}. I have plans to make some love-ly gift cones to hang from the mantle too, but I am open to the possibility that they may not be made until next year.

You can never have to many colors of pinks, too much tulle, a variety of textures, never enough glitter, and always top it off with a vintage brooch...so sweet and love-ly!

I made this Valentines greeting..."Be Mine"...our first Valentines as Mr. & Mrs. Each tag has different trims, vintage pearl buttons, and rhinestones.

You are wise to put your mark on your photos...they are that goo. Some stealer like me could come along! Looks fabulous!

I just recently found your blog (Howdy from Tejas!) and I'm squinting to see the lovely decor in so many of your shots. Please, please, please would you consider doing a Flikr album tour of your house (and your mom's? That Vintage Santa collection is TDF). I just absolutely love your style. Seriously. Please? :)

Oh, thank you so much for "stopping by"! Your site is wonderful and your mantal, your mantal looks fantastic! It inspires a girl like me to add some pink and red to my house...

Hello dear girl. Thanks for stopping in. Sorry to hear that your hubs is still gone. Mine is too actually. He was going to suprise me tonight and show up at home but it turns out there is so much snow right now that they've had to close the road between here and there.

And guess what ? I got to hear LKH's voice for the very first time as she called me on the phone tonight...made my day to talk to her. What a doll!

How I wish we could sit down over a cup of tea and have a nice long, get-to-know-you-better chat. I am quite sure I would adore the real you behind your blog even more than I do coming here and soaking in glimpes of your beautiful little life.
