so...last week I asked hubby if he felt it might be a little early to decorate for Halloween. I didn't see the look on his face, but could hear the tone... "ummm...yea...might be too soon!" I don't know why I feel the need for fall...I am loving our new grill and the spacious patio, and can't say I am at all wishing for winter's dreary to come quickly. I think I am just looking forward to decorating and pushing myself to do new things in our new place...not the welcome of fall just yet per say. I let the thought pass and then scolded myself for thinking out loud before I thought.
I always decorate too early, but July? Thats a record for me starting to "think fall". I didn't think of it again until I was standing in the super long line at Wal-Mart. {side note...I used to think the lines at Wal-Mart were inefficient...why build 50 lanes and only staff 1/4 of them? Then I realized last week...its to buy all the junk I mean items at the checkout...mags, hand sanitizer, candy, another mag...I get it now...don't like it, but I get the frustrating marketing ploy.} Anyways, back to standing in line...I picked up a mag and there it was...Halloween! My goodness its early, but scary that I was just dreaming of fall the day before!
So no throwing tomatoes at me please...I promise I'm not putting out my Halloween decor just yet...not for a while...instead I will look forward to my birthday in August and take it one month and holiday at a time...
2 cute!
love the black prisms swagged along the glitter...
I am smitten with her goodies...if I only I could decide which one I like best!

I am SO throwing tomatoes at you {like you didn't know that I would!} Ash!!! Lawsie Mercy are you going to be able to make it until Oct. 1st???!!!
it's funny, because I have been dreaming of fall too - my fav season!!!
But I am trying to teach myself to enjoy the hear and now - summer!!!
So we can have orange and black in our homes way too early together!!!
I am feeling the same exact way as you! We had a couple of slightly cool days here in Boston and I couldn't help but get excited about the freshness of fall. Of course decorating for Halloween is a thought that follows close behind the thought of fall. I'm right there with you! Trying to enjoy the last of summer while patiently awaiting the fall! :)
And thank you for posting about my Halloween items! I was pleasantly surprised while reading your posts! :)
