new year, new wishes {I don't much make resolutions as I don't seem to keep them past January}, new blessings, new thankfulness...
As this year begins we find ourselves so thankful for so many of our blessings...
-God's sufficient grace that fills in the blanks of our shortfalls
-the lesson of 2008...God taught us that we don't need what we want, but want what we need
-overwhelmingly thankful for 2 families {both "inlaws" and "outlaws"} that love us and wholeheartedly support us on this roller coaster of "becoming a doctor" and the sacrifices it entails for all
-so grateful to each have jobs we enjoy
-the ease and transition of feeling at home in a new state and place so quickly
-dear dear friends both new and old, near and far!
-and surely most of all...the love we have for each other after over 4 years of marriage...life would not be complete without hubby to lean on everyday!
We are all back safe and sound from spending Christmas in Texas with our families just in time to ring in the new year in PA. From the looks of it you can see I got behind on blogging...thats ok...you'll just have to be patient as I catch up and squeeze in posts on our last days of 2008!
We have spent every night since we've been home with friends...party hoping you could say...celebrating the new year, a birthday, a new baby, and wishing 2008 farewell! What a blessing to have so many precious friends to make special memories!
sweet friends...I hope that your 2009 is off to a lovely start!!!
{thanks so much for the pics Meg! ...since I am still cameraless...an exciting update on the diagnosis soon!}
